Sam Wildman, Project Manager
Sam provides support to all projects within the livestock sector as a project manager with Prasino. He provides Prasino with a young, diverse look at all projects because of his strong background in production agriculture.
Sam represents the eighth generation to be raised on his family farm in southwest Ohio which currently feeds out roughly 25,000 fat hogs a year. Prior to 2013 his family operated a sow herd of 650 sows and Sam was responsible for many different aspects of the family business associated with that operation. The family also grows 1,100 acres of row crops. Mr. Wildman’s background in the pork industry led him to the Pig Adventure at Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, IN. where he was a lead intern charged with developing tourism protocols and leading discussion and dialogue around production agriculture for nearly 20,000 people who came to visit the farm.
Sam studied Agricultural Communication at The Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture degree in 2014. He is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and serving three terms on the executive committee.
Prior to college Sam was homeschooled for twelve years and spent every moment possible on the farm learning from his family. Sam brings a strong opinion of how producers think and view social issues associated with agriculture, as well as a personal charge to promote agriculture through transparency and dialogue whenever he can.
